Mexico, and have owned them on home soil for years...
Serbia is
imposing limits on foreign born players looking to ply their trade in their top soccer league. Two things on that. One,
Michel Platini, FIFA President, no doubt hopes that trend continues though it seems as though the
EU would strike such a move down if it came to the broader continent. Two, are you like me and don't figure there are too many people looking to get into
Serbia to play?...

Got TdF, Wimbledon, and Ryders Cup so at least a little bit of European events. Missing the big American events such as Superbowl and Stanley Cup as well, so not going to complain that there is no Olympic or World Cup on the list. Nothing from Asia or South America or Africa though... Could have a River Plate - Boca Juniors rivalry.
True, but the inclusion of the freaking Home Run Derby is an utter joke.
I'd definitely have World Cup on my list, or a Champions League final. In the past, I'd have said Indy 500 but less so today as it has lost some of its lustre. U.S. Open or Wimbledon would make my list, a Yankee World Series game too.
Completely agree on the Home Run derby, specially since it is the absolute opposite of the 1st place event, the Masters, which he hails for not selling out an inch.
Iditarod is the surprise event there, but I can understand that it would be quite the experience for him to take part of it.
Think I would add World Cup as well on my list, as a huge multinational event it still manages to bring the supporter culture you'd find locally, and a true celebration of the game of soccer. Of motorsports perhaps Le Mans 24hours, though indy 500 is a very good call. Another one I'd like to add would be Rugby world cup finals, that's just insane. TdF is a given. 1/2 million lunatic fans on top of a mountain within touching distance from the riders with no fences between, dressed as cows or devils, and a noise level so high the riders can't hear themselves think. Then you drive down in the valley to enjoy some of the finest food and wine on the planet before you repeat the next day.
And a small correction: Platini is head of UEFA, not FIFA ;)
back from vacation and nothing has changed with tfc. lovely.
That's 8 goals against in two finals second halves.
Oh, as for the Platini SNAFU, I blame an excessive amount of beers at a wedding last night.
