Had to mention that for the old school RaptorsChat readers...hard to believe that a guy that has won as many games as Marty Turco didn't win his first in Detoilet until this past Saturday, now making him 1-9-2...for all the love people (read: Leafs Fan) shower on Gary Roberts, who might be the most overrated player in Leafs history in my book, his history of injuries and missed games sure gets downplayed if not ignored altogether...some QB's take their offensive lineman out for dinner, buy them watches or other nice gifts. Tom Brady buys his guys Audi Q7's. Wow...word is Mike D'Antoni, the new Knicks coach, is not a big fan of David Lee, Renaldo Balkman or Randolph Morris...Game 7 between the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Hornets tonight will complete the final four picture in the NBA. I'd love to see the Hornets do it to see more of Chris Paul, and even to see Her-Pete advance, but hard to bet against the Spurs in any must-win game...if there is a Monday Night Raw god, Umaga won't appear tonight...have a great Monday.

I'll bet 80% of the goods Elvis has baught the last year have been made in China... Nice on him to expect athletes who has sacrificed a decade or more on competing at the Olympics to just drop it now because of a slightly tense political situation. Let the athletes deal with performing at a top level and the politicians deal with politics.
Russia did lose out on the European Championships in volleyball played at home in Russia however. Incidentally they played Spain in that final, at the same day and time as the Eurobasket final was played in Spain. Russia won in Spain, Spain won in Russia.
D'Antoni doesn't like Lee, Balkman and Morris... I can't imagine he likes Curry or Randolph and likely not Starbury. Even if he did, that 22 mill expiring is too valuable to be used other ways. Crawford is their most tradable asset, so who's left? Jerome James? Makes you wonder why he accepted the job in the first place.

Actually I don't, haven't got the slightest clue about volleyball... Absolutely terrible at it and never had an interest in it. Just heard about it from some Spanish acquaintances.
Did not heed advice from the mighty TBek's blog and just dropped cash on the Hornets in Game 7.
I'm scared of the Spurs in a must win situation, but figure the Hornets home dominance will continue.
Should be a great game 7. Can't wait for the tipoff.
